Jayne attributes her success as a real estate agent to her extensive background in advertising, including working as an Account Executive with NBC-TV to running her own award winning creative advertising agency. She helped develop marketing campaigns for clients such as Next Day Blinds, Jiffy Lube and New Homes Guide. This experience provides her with the knowledge and insight to successfully market her client’s properties and to negotiate the best price for both her buyers and sellers. Jayne has also worked as a consultant to a luxury custom home builder/developer providing extensive market research and analysis to determine the viability of future projects.
Jayne has lived in the DC metro area for over 30 years and along with her husband, Art, has raised two children, Jonathan and Emily. In 2007 Jayne and Emily formed Ehrens Properties, a successful real estate team that has helped many clients buy and sell some of the most dramatic properties in the DC area. Their energetic approach combined with their personal attention and compassion for their clients is their recipe for success.
A Washington, DC native, Emily returned to DC in 2005 after living in NC, Los Angeles and Houston only to fall in love with the city she grew up in. This appreciation for the area has inspired her to acquire an extensive knowledge of the various neighborhoods in the DC area, always keeping an eye out for new and exciting real estate opportunities.
Emily brings her experience in the advertising industry to help create successful marketing efforts for her clients and her experience with MTV productions increases her ability for organization, details and creativity. As a former head hunter, Emily has a knack for matching clients with their ideal homes.
In 2007 Emily joined forces with her mother, Jayne Ehrens and created the Ehrens Properties team. Together they have proven to be a successful Real Estate team, exceeding their client’s expectations with each transaction.
Emily is also a lead vocalist for one of the top event Big Bands on the East Coast, performing at Inaugural Balls, charity events and corporate galas. She lives in Takoma Park with her husband Joseph and their dog Calvert.
